3Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM): To be used for purchase or refinance of 1-4 family properties in Massachusetts or New Hampshire only. 5/1 TRS ARM available for 1-4 family owner-occupied, investment or second home properties in Massachusetts or New Hampshire. 7/1 TRS and 10/1 TRS ARM rates are also available for these property types and, additionally, for construction loans (rate may vary) on single family primary residences only. Rates on ARMs may increase after closing at applicable adjustment term. 5/1, 7/1 and 10/1 TRS ARMs: Upon rate conversion to variable, all TRS ARMs can adjust initially by 2%, subsequently by 2% and capped at 6%. To get the new rate after the fixed period we use a variable number called “the index”.
